Welcome to Whisperliminals

Whisperliminals is a personalized sleep audio tool by RESTorative Co. It combines your own voice recordings with ambient soundscapes, binaural beats, and music to create a deeply personal sleep experience.

Unlike generic sleep apps, Whisperliminals processes your voice with professional-grade audio filters and lets you layer it over calming environments you control.

Step 1: Record Your Voice

Navigate to the Record page and use the built-in recorder to capture your voice. You can read from one of our sleep scripts, speak your own affirmations, or record any audio you'd like to hear as you drift off.

Your recording is uploaded securely and processed through our audio pipeline, which applies:

  • Noise reduction to remove background hiss and hum
  • Dynamic normalization to even out volume fluctuations
  • Loudness balancing to ensure a consistent, comfortable listening level

Step 2: Open the WhisperStudio

The Studio is your mixing board. Here you can:

  • Play your processed voice recordings
  • Layer ambient soundscapes (rain, ocean, forest, and more)
  • Add binaural beat programs for different brainwave states
  • Mix in background music
  • Adjust individual volumes for each channel
  • Control the Master Volume for overall output

Step 3: Set a Sleep Timer

Use the Sleep Timer to automatically fade out and stop all audio after a set duration. Choose from preset times (30 minutes to 8 hours) or set a custom duration.

The timer gradually reduces volume before stopping, so you won't be jarred awake by sudden silence.

Step 4: Explore the Script Library

The Script Library contains interactive bedtime scripts with customizable variables. Each script has dropdown selectors that let you personalize the content — choose your favorite colors, places, sensations, and more.

Create your own copy of any template, customize it, and save it for future use. Each copy is private to your account.

Tips for Best Results

  • Use headphones for the best binaural beat experience — they require separate left/right channels
  • Record in a quiet space for cleaner voice processing results
  • Start with a low voice volume and gradually increase until it feels natural alongside the ambient sounds
  • Try different soundscape combinations — layering rain with a fireplace or ocean with wind can create rich atmospheres
  • Save your favorite mixes as presets so you can recall them instantly
